Traditional Minas Gerais Galinhada Recipe

Ingredients:
- 1 chicken cut into pieces (or drumsticks and thighs)
- 2 cups of rice
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1 ripe tomato, chopped
- 1 bell pepper (optional)
- Turmeric or saffron (for color)
- Salt and pepper to taste

- Oil or olive oil for sautéing

Method:
